President Kenyatta Leaves Pretoria For Nairobi

President Uhuru Kenyatta this morning left Pretoria for Nairobi after three days of official duty in South Africa. The plane carrying the Head of State lifted at the Waterkloof Airforce Base, Pretoria, shortly after 9.15 am, Kenyan time. He was seen off at the  Airforce Base by  the Pan African Parliament (PAP) President Mr Bethel Amadi and the Kenyan ambassador  (designate ) to South Africa Ms Jean Kamau among other Kenyan officials from the Embassy. While in South Africa, President Kenya opened the 6th Ordinary Session of the Third Parliament of  PAP at Midrand . During the ceremony President Kenyatta called on Africa leaders to open the continent to Africans so that the region can become one huge economic and investment hub where people can move freely and do business. He also announced that Kenya was open to all Africans willing to visit and do business in  the country  so long the foreigners are willing to open the laws of the land. President Kenyatta also paid a courtesy call to his host, President Jacob Zuma at his official residence where they discussed the crisis in Burundi and other bilateral issues  affecting Kenya and South Africa.
