Today, the 6th of November, 2015 His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta chaired a Cabinet meeting at State House, Nairobi.
  1. The Establishment of an East African Region Branch of the African Export Import (AFREXIM) Bank in Nairobi, Kenya
Cabinet approved the establishment of the African Export Import (AFREXIM) Bank and opening of a branch office in the country to serve the East African Region. The choice of Nairobi by the African Export Import Bank as a host city for the Bank’s regional office for Eastern Africa is an attestation to the recognition of Nairobi as a regional hub and its global significance.
  1. Hosting of World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) Conference in Nairobi, Kenya – November 2015
Cabinet also approved Kenya’s hosting of the Global Alliance (GA) for Public Relations and Communication Management’s World Conference on Public Relations in Emerging Economies (WCPREE) that will be held at Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi, between 14th and 18th November, 2015. The event will bring together over 160,000 practitioners and academicians to share knowledge and experience in order to improve professional standards for the global Public Relations Society.  The Conference will also position Kenya as a key destination for conference tourism.   CABINET OFFICE, NAIROBI   6th November, 2015
