PRESIDENT’S GOODWILL MESSAGE TO MUSLIM FAITHFUL IN KENYA AS THEY MARK EID UL FITR CELEBRATIONS I join all Kenyans to express solidarity and support the Muslim Community as they complete their fulfilment of a pillar of their faith. Your devotion and discipline is an inspiring example for all of us. Idd ul Fitr is a time for Kenyans to reflect joyfully about the strength we draw as a Nation from our cultural and religious diversity. We also appreciate the role that Muslim Faith and culture has played in shaping Kenya's distinctive character, a gift that cannot be artificially replicated anywhere else. We celebrate your role in our harmony, diversity and uniqueness. We also extol the place of faith in consolidating National Unity and anchoring our most important values. As our brothers and sisters embark on the solemn festivities, I congratulate all of you on behalf of the people of Kenya and wish you Idd Mubarak : May Allah accept your sacrifices. UHURU KENYATTA, C.G.H., PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA 25th June, 2017
