PRESIDENT RUTO ARRIVES IN ADDIS ABABA FOR UN FOOD SYSTEMS SUMMIT

President William Ruto arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Sunday evening to attend the Second United Nations Food Systems Summit Stocktake.

The President was received at Bole International Airport by Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh.

At the summit, he will deliver Kenya’s national statement, reaffirming the country’s commitment to transforming food systems to support sustainable development and enhance climate resilience.

On the sidelines of the Summit, the President will hold bilateral talks with other leaders, including Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and the African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, among others.
